Soleluna Italian Ice Cream Parlor

2 Jan 2025

It is located in the La Gaviota Shopping Centre, very close to the second runway of Playa de la Barrosa.

It is the oldest ice cream shop in the area. Its owners have been in the area for 22 years, creating and making the most innovative ice cream proposals, using natural and high quality products.

Salvatore or Salvo, as he likes to be called, is the master ice cream maker of the place, having imported the technique to produce the best ice creams in the area from Italy.

In summer, on holidays and long weekends, the queues of people waiting to buy one of their legendary ice creams stand out.

Perhaps I am not the most appropriate person to recommend some of their most traditional flavours, since I always order the same flavour “Nutella”. I have never tried a flavour so well achieved anywhere else. The other day Salvo explained to me his preparation process in great detail, and he had also experimented by mixing it with white Nutella. Not to mention my second favourite flavour “liquorice”, amazing if you like this flavour.

In addition to the artisanal ice creams, the company’s natural fruit sorbets are particularly noteworthy, especially because of the raw materials used. The company buys the product from local farmers and, after a washing process, freezes it for use all year round.

For three years, it has had a corner for waffles and crepes, delighting all lovers of sweets. They themselves produce the dough they use in their products. It is worth recommending the classics such as Nutella Ferrero and Grand Manier Liqueur.

In summer, an ice cream cart rides along the beach, and is also available for parties, barbecues and birthdays.
